ACLS is designed for Health Care Providers in resuscitation of the critically ill patient at the advanced level using medications, cardiac monitoring, electrical therapy and advanced airway placement. Any patient in any scenario can instantly become critical. ACLS training allows you to handle these unexpected situations.

This program requires a basic skill set of BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR and basic dysrhythmia recognition (EKGs). The importance of effective team communication and appropriate action during resuscitation is emphasized.

PALS -Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course

This course is designed for Health Care Professionals in resuscitation of the pediatric patient at the advanced level using medications, cardiac monitoring, electrical therapy and advanced airway placement. This program requires a basic skill set of CPR or BLS for Healthcare Provider and basic dysrhythmia recognition (EKGs).

PALS is designed for the Health Care Professional routinely involved with pediatric patients. The importance of effective team communication and appropriate action during resuscitation is emphasized throughout the class.

ECG/Pharmacology

This course is designed to teach students to recognize and manage Cardiac ECG Rhythms easily and correctly. ECG/Pharmacology is taught using a Student Workbook and Cardiac Simulation with actual defibrillators/monitors.

written exam

Information about the Written Exams

After the presentation related to the course and hands-on demonstration for the course you are taking you will receive a written exam.

  • You must pass with 84% on exam.
  • You can view any presentation up to 3 times before taking the test.
  • If you do not pass the exam you may take it again.
  • You will receive two chances for any one exam.
  • If you fail the exam on the second attempt you may repeat the class once, at no charge and take the test again.

ACLS, BLS, PALS, PEARS CERTIFICATIONS

Once you have successfully completed the course will receive by mail the AHA card from the AHA Training Center. The AHA Training Center will issue your card within 30 days.

Once the course is successfully completed you will immediately receive a Certificate of Completion. This documents your status as current while delivery of your AHA card is in progress.
